Description: The Manitoba Pulse & Soybean Growers (MPSG) is seeking a self-motivated, organized individual for a full-time Program Officer position based in Carman, MB. We’re seeking an individual who is detail oriented, and who will coordinate and manage MPSG’s extensive funding program, including leveraging funds, research program coordination, contract administration and execution, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, and work with an incredible attention to detail and within deadlines. Written communication skills are an asset. Minimum level of education required is a Degree in Business Administration or Agriculture. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience and knowledge of the agricultural industry is preferred.

MPSG represents 3,500 farmers in Manitoba who produce soybeans, edible beans, peas, chickpeas, faba beans and lentils. Our mission is to provide Manitoba pulse and soybean grower members with production knowledge and market development support, through focused research, advocacy and collaboration with industry partners.
