Description: The Manitoba Pulse Growers Association Inc. (MPGA) is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, organized individual for a twelve (12) month Executive Director term position based in Carman, MB. For the right candidate, this could become a permanent position. Major job focus and areas of responsibility include research, market development, policy, liaison, strategic planning, communications, employee management and other duties as determined by the board of directors.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines; and knowledge of agriculture and the pulse industry. Experience working with or for a board of directors is an asset.
