MPSG Job Postings: 2018 Agronomy and On-Farm Interns (Summer Positions)

Manitoba Pulse & Soybean Growers (MPSG) is a non-profit commodity organization representing more than 4000 farmers who grow soybeans, dry (edible) beans, peas and faba beans. Research and production are key focus areas that have expanded significantly over the past three years. This summer MPSG is looking to fill two summer positions. These positions are an exciting summer opportunity for a student looking to gain experience in the agricultural industry, specifically with soybean and pulse agronomy and research.

Agronomy Intern

MPSG is looking for an Agronomy Intern to help provide production support to farmers and agronomists by staying current on pulse and soybean crop conditions and activities. The purpose of this position is to provide value to farmers during the busy growing season. This is a unique opportunity to network and build relationships within the agricultural industry. You will be part of a dynamic research and production team, gaining knowledge on soybean and pulse production, research and extension events.

On-Farm Intern

MPSG is looking for an On-Farm Intern to assist with the On-Farm Network field trials. The purpose of this position is to assist MPSG in successfully implementing and conducting On-Farm Network field trials. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the on-farm research process while visiting a variety of farms across Manitoba. You will be part of a dynamic research and production team, gaining knowledge on soybean and pulse production, research and extension events.
