• Ag in the Classroom – is a non-profit organization that shares an accurate, balanced and current message about agricultures to students all across Manitoba through their many hands on events and resources. MPGA is proud to be a Partner of this organization and to take part in their many great programs.
• Culinary Team Manitoba - are the best of the best in the Manitoba chef competition world. MPGA is proud to be able to sponsor this team as it trains for the 2012 World Culinary Competition being held in Germany.
• foodManitoba – Discover wholesome home-grown food from the fields and farms of Manitoba. Manitoba’s farmers are proud to offer this treasure trove of mouth watering recipes, valuable tips for buying, handling and preparing locally grown ingredients. Enjoy the great taste of Manitoba foods!
• Great Tastes of Manitoba – Rated in the top 50 shows in Manitoba, the Great Tastes of Manitoba is an educational cooking program that features Manitoba food at its best. In the fall of 2011 the show will be entering its 22nd season. Airing on CTV in both the fall and spring the program continues to teach people about local food that you can prepare at home.
• Special Crops Symposium – In combination with The Manitoba Corn Growers Association, Manitoba Pulse Growers Association, the National Sunflowers Association of Canada, in partnership with Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives, this event features speakers on corn, sunflowers, edible beans and soybeans as well as a tradeshow and the Annual General Meeting for MCGA, MPGA and NSAC. This event brings together producers and industry representatives in one venue to discuss marketing, agronomy and pest management issues.
