New Staff Welcomed at MPSG

Carman, MB (May 4, 2015) – The Manitoba Pulse & Soybean Growers (MPSG) is pleased to welcome two new staff members to our team this spring. The roles of Summer Agronomy Student and Administrative Assistant will help advance our organization’s strategic goals and industry growth.

James Carriere has joined the team as Summer Agronomy Student for the 2015 growing season to assist with research, production and extension activities. James lives in La Salle, Manitoba and will be starting his second year of studies this fall at the University of Manitoba pursuing a degree in Agronomy. His primary responsibility this summer will be to coordinate MPSG directed research projects at various sites throughout the province. The summer agronomy position will help MPSG advance its research goals by taking on new initiatives that will bring production knowledge to farmers and agronomists.

Wendy Voogt will be filling MPSG’s new role of Administrative Assistant. Wendy brings 15 years of office and administrative experience with her and will be responsible for data entry and general office support. She resides in Carman with her husband and four children and is excited to join our team on a part-time basis while still having time to keep up with her active family.
